
I’ve gotten a number of questions lately about how this device works, so for the sake of clarity, I’ve posted, at left, the data flow diagram for the HH1 device (see the posts below for more information on what the HH1 experiment is all about). It’s pretty straightforward, which is the point really. I want it to do its one specific function well. We can then expand from there. I’ve already gotten a number of suggestions for enhancing the device. For example, I was told by one person suffering from Type 1 diabetes that in addition to a sudden, rapid heart rate, they start to perspire. They suggested adding some type of skin moisture detector to the set up. I think this is a super idea, but I want to get this initial, very focused version done first. It can always get better!
To that end, I’m well on my way (thanks to a whole bunch of people I will identify later) to getting the next milestone done – activating something like a radio to wake someone up – so stay tuned. I’ll hopefully have something to post by the end of the week.
